Video Mix Tapes

Over the past week or so i have managed to discover the joys of the video mixtape, something that was completely alien to me before hand. I'm not quite sure exactly how it managed to pass me by un-noticed but it did! Anyway if like me you haven't a clue here's a good starting point:

I managed to find and download some absolute corkers this week and have been inspired to make my own. So armed with a lot of DVD's, Youtube, Avi's and Sony Vegas i have embarked on a voyage of moving picture mayhem.

As soon as i have got something worth sharing with the world i will post it up for your viewing pleasure

Mystery Science Theatre 3000

If you've never had the pleasure of watching this program i highly suggest you do. I only discovered it towards the end of it's 11 year 198 episode run on TV. It's about one man and his robot friends who have been banished to the "Satellite Of Love" by an evil scientist and forced to watch some of the best bad movies ever whilst throwing in a lot of smart and funny lines of their own throughout the film!
Have a look at the wiki page for more details:

It's pretty easy to pretty easy to come across episodes on many of the good rapidshare forums, torrent sites and places like YouTube and google video. I have included the very last episode for you to check out:

If you want any help hunting down episodes or place to find more info on the show feel free to leave me a comment and I'll be happy to help although you should be able to find most of the info you need through google.

Enjoy!!!

A Bit Of A Rant

I was looking through a few web pages today and found that they are looking at remaking videodrome by David Cronenberg:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086541/

I just can't understand why the shit factory that is Hollywood isn't content with leaving classic films alone! Why do they have to keep remaking films which were great in the first place. They should employ some people who have original idea's and think up a new script, not just try and make a quick buck by remaking an old one! Every other film that's released these days seems to be a remake of some type that has had a load of computer special fx in it.
Please, Please, Please, Please, don't ruin anymore great movies!!!!!!

Rant over
